The green movement has officially broken the barriers of the pizza culture. The design firm, ECO Inc. has invented the Greenbox. It’s clever invention that makes it simple for you to have your Melbourne pizza and eat it with style.

Introducing The Greenbox

The Greenbox is a pizza box that is perforated on the lid. The perforations break the pizza box into four different sections that can be used as pizza plates.

You can also tear off a few of the triangular strips from the sides of the bottom section of the box, fold at the score, and you’ve got a handy-dandy half-sized pizza box for your leftover pizza slices!

Pizza Box Turns Into Pizza Plates

Click here to view the embedded video.

Because parts of a pizza box get all greasy they aren’t necessarily considered to be recyclable. This usually only happens to the bottom of the box. The lid, being made out of corrugated cardboard, can usually be recycled, so you could argue that by using it for pizza plates makes it unsuitable for recycling. You could also argue that by not using real plates you save on water use.

Say Goodbye To Dirty Dishes

No matter which argument you stand behind, at the end of the day, if you call for pizza delivery here in Melbourne you’re going to get a pizza box. Chances are you’re going to use some form of disposable plates to eat it off of so you don’t have to worry about cleaning dishes.

After all, when someone orders out, it usually means they aren’t in the mood for cooking or cleaning up the mess associated with it. So why not use your pizza box for pizza plates? You’re paying for it anyway.

Everything else has gone to the tech birds, so why not pizza? The time has come to order your next Pizza Delivery from your iPhone!

The pizza industry has always been one of innovation, and it’s come a long way since the origins of the Pizza when the ancients were cooking up dough pies of dates and whatever other toppings were handy. The industry continues to evolve today, making pizza delivery in Melbourne and across the country ever-easier for an increasingly busy customer base.

The iPhone Pizza Order

It used to be considered quite an advance when you could just pick up the phone and ring up your dinner, then have it delivered to your door in just a bit. But now you have even more options for getting that perfect gourmet pizza, fresh and delivered on time.

Online ordering has been on the Australian pizza scene since 2005 when it was first offered by the well-known Domino’s chain. But even that’s gone higher-tech as phones and personal electronic devices offer us more and more applications. As of September of this year, an iPhone application was expected to add to the ease and convenience of pizza ordering. In fact, within the next few years it is expected that for some pizza delivery services, at least half of their ordering will take place online or via a personal electronic device.

The Technology Pizza

The impact of technology in the pizza marketplace doesn’t end with easier ordering, either. Technology is helping us choose and track our foods and toppings, give us the option of feedback direct to the maker, make sure our diets and pizzas can coexist happily, and do much more. Technology is becoming an integral part of pizza marketing plans, too, both online and off in direct mailing campaigns. The possibilities, really, are endless, and with new apps for phones, handhelds, and more cropping up every day, the tech sector has only begun to make its mark in the world of pizza.

All this is making our Melbourne Pizza so much more enjoyable
